Made from ABS resin with an appearance and sound similar to that of genuine grenadilla wood. These models are lightweight, strong and easy to clean ? perfect for even very young players. The instrument, with plastic body rings, straight keywork and without the traditional bell ring gives a very attractive and modern design. The body is stained and buffed to give the appearance of wood. The nickel silver keywork is cold forged and induction soldered, providing greater stability, precision and quality. A great start for your student clarinetist.
I've always been a fan of Buffet clarinets. I currently play a Buffet BC1193 and it's served me well over the years.
Parts are easily accessible should you need repair, this is a reputable brand, it is durable, and if you take good care of it, you can interchange parts (bell, barrel, mouthpiece) to achieve a better tone quality as the student gets to high school.
