Beginner/intermediate guitar player. Met all my expectations. I found guitar to be responsive,resonate,tunes easily and stays in tune.Pretty to look at. I have owned much more expensive classical guitars and around $800.00 ranges and find this guitar to be amazing for the price!
Great guitar
I am a beginner guitar learner. I researched online about guitars and bought this guitar because it seemed a good deal for quality and price. Now I take it to my guitar class and I can feel that my guitar sounds best among all of the guitars that students use. I hope this guitar will last for a long time and be a friend of my happiness.
Unacceptable finish; embarrassemt to Yamaha 
I really looked forward to receiving this guitar. My friends and the reviews had good things to say about Yamaha guitars. I unwrapped it, played a few cords, and noticed large blotches on the left side of the front. It appeared that the wood was bare in some spots, as if it missed the varnish stage. The guitar was packaged well and showed no indication of rubs in shipping. I don't know how this passed any quality inspection. Because they put out a guitar with a finish this marred, it does not speak well of the overall quality. Not expecting perfection, but this was an embarrassment to Yamaha. It's going back. Very disappointed.

i love this guitar. it came with the case and a tuner. it sounds great for a factory made guitar. ts great not just for beginners but any guitar lover.

In my opinion, Nice look,good sound,well constructed.
action is too high(6th fret and after).Hard to play.
After max adjust, still high. Does not stay tunned long.
I would have not bought it, if I knew, for these reasons.
