Basic Beat Jumbo Chiquitas customer reviews: Great quality! Great sound! My special-needs preschool son loves music and loves to keep the beat with maracas. Sometimes, he just shakes them, but he also uses them like drumsticks and beats on the kitchen floor with them. He has cracked several maracas, so I went looking online for the sturdiest plastic maracas I could find. I am very pleased with these! They are very well made. I do not think he will be able to crack these. And they have a great sound! We also got a sturdy wooden pair from the same company, and while they are beautifully crafted and well made, they have a softer sound. He likes these better.
